Ce qui importe pour Bion, c’est de penser-figurer l’expérience proto-émotionnelle hic et nunc, afin de la métaboliser en une émotion psychique respectant la « vérité » du vécu. Sans ce premier maillon symbolique inconscient, le sujet ne peut rien apprendre de son expérience. L’auteure émet l’hypothèse d’une part élaboratrice du Moi inconscient fonctionnant comme le travail-alpha-du-rêve de Bion. Outre l’état émotionnel, l’état du soma est pris en compte. Des exemples cliniques l’illustrent.

The author hypothesizes an elaborative dimension of the unconscious Ego functioning as the dream-work alpha (Bion). In addition to the emotional state, the state of the soma is taken into account. Clinical examples illustrate this.
