Since these two crimes took place under cover of two world wars, these events have unveiled the devastating logic and the power of a war of a new kind : the “total war”. The question of context allows us to leave out the absurd comparison between different kinds of genocidal acts which, by definition, were each unique – the only conclusion possible after such a comparative analysis.It is in this spirit that fits this article on the phenomena of genocide in the context of a total war. | ||
