520			_aÀ l’occasion d’un projet d’aménagement urbanistique conduit au cœur de la cité lyonnaise par son gouverneur en 1635, la procédure contentieuse qui suivit, à l’initiative de son Consulat, pour en empêcher l’exécution, permet de mettre au jour deux discours sur la nature de la ville qui soutiennent tout deux également deux idées du Politique. Derrière la dimension anecdotique de l’événement, il est possible, en effet, d’appréhender les légitimités antagonistes des principaux prétendants à l’autorité urbaine et l’exploitation conflictuelle de cette maîtrise politique.
520			_aPlaces as discourses: the bridge of Saône in Lyon in 1635 In 1635, Lyon’s Governor decided to alter a bridge upon the Saône river in town. A conflict between the Governor and the Consulate began, this latter wanted to prevent the project. The conflict reveals two discourses upon the nature of the city and, furthermore, two ideas of Politics. The evolution of the original project brings to the fore the political purposes of each party. Thus, behind the trivial nature of this event, we can grasp the antagonistic legitimacies which are claimed by the main candidates for the urban executive body and the conflictual use of this political control upon the urban frame.
