520			_aLa pandémie liée à la Covid-19, le changement climatique, les difficultés du commerce international, la préservation de l’intégrité territoriale sont autant de sujets sur lesquels les tendances unilatéralistes de la Chine, de la Russie ou des États-Unis empêchent toute coopération international efficace. Si les formes de l’unilatéralisme varient demême que les justifications, la dynamique d’ensemble demeure identique parmi les grandes puissances : la préservation de la souveraineté prime, et la coopération est souvent réduite à l’usage de moyens informels, plus souples que la promotion d’outils institutionnels et normatifs façonnés au cours du xxe siècle.
520			_aThe unilateralist tendencies of China, Russia and the United States are preventing effective international cooperation across a range of issues such as the Covid-19 pandemic, climate change, the difficulties of international trade and the preservation of territorial integrity. While the forms of unilateralism (and their justifications) vary, the overall dynamic among the major powers remains unchanged; preservation of sovereignty takes precedence, and cooperation is often limited to the use of more flexible informal resources, rather than extending to the promotion of institutional and normative tools shaped over the course of the twentieth century.
