La perception que Michel-Ange a de lui-même en esclave entre alors en tension avec l’affirmation progressive de son statut de faiseur d’images « divines ».L’analyse de ce phénomène permet ainsi d’approcher sous un angle inédit les mécanismes poétiques de l’art de Michel-Ange, qui fluctuent, de manière constante, entre l’orgueil de l’artiste divin et l’humilité de la créature de Dieu. | ||
