Dès les années 1970, le site connaît une crise qui trouve son origine dans les problèmes de santé et les pollutions de l’environnement. L’intervention de l’État, les négociations collectives avec les syndicats et la subjectivité des travailleurs sont ici prises en compte et analysées dans un processus qui, après l’espoir d’une restructuration durable, mène au déclin et à une véritable désindustrialisation. Aujourd’hui, Porto Marghera tente de s’inventer un avenir possible autour du port de commerce et de nouvelles activités autour des connaissances et de la technologie. | ||
