Dans cet article paru en 1905 dans L’Année psychologique, Binet explique comment son appel, lancé cinq ans plus tôt, à « une science du témoignage » a été entendu et prolongé par des études empiriques à l’étranger surtout puis en France. Ces études empiriques dont il donne quelques résultats doivent permettre de « régénérer la recherche judiciaire par l’application des lois psychologiques » et « de fonder ainsi une science psycho-judiciaire ».

The science of testimonyIn this article published in 1905 in L’Année psychologique,Binet explains how his call for a science of testimony made five years earlier found echo and was extended by empirical studies first, in foreign countries, then in France. These empirical studies of which he proposes some results should allow the “regeneration of judicial research through the application of psychological laws” and consequently the foundation of “psychojudicial science”.
