Résumé — Dans une langue étrangère, le rythme linguistique ne peut jouer son rôle habituel de pare-excitations. Une analyse où le patient ne parle pas sa langue maternelle comporte ainsi un facteur antirégrédient.

Summary — Linguistic rhythm cannot play its usual role of counter-excitation in a foreign language. An analysis in which a patient is not speaking his or her mother tongue thus implies an anti-regredient factor.

Resumen — En un idioma extranjero, el ritmo lingüístico no puede desempeñar su papel habitual de protector contra las excitaciones. Un aná lisis en que el paciente no habla en su idioma materno, comporta por ello un factor antiregrediente.

Zusammenfassung — In einer Fremdsprache, kann der Sprachrythmus seine gewöhnliche Rolle von Reizschutz nicht spielen. Eine Analyse, in welcher der Patient nicht seine Muttersprache spricht, enthält somit einen antiregressiven Faktor.
