The PREAUT approach, which is not meant to be a method, was developed in France but is open to all contributions, French or international, scientific or clinical. It was developed by academic as well as research teams working in the field, who came together for one purpose: to improve support methods for children with neurodevelopmental disorders linked to the autism spectrum, as well as their families. This article presents the approach and the way it is used on a daily basis in a clarifying and enlightening way, for professionals as well as for parents.
