Le métier d’interprète LSF/français se professionnalise depuis le Réveil Sourd, il y a une cinquantaine d’années. Cet article se propose d’étudier l’apport de la linguistique de la LSF, et notamment l’apport de l’ Approche Sémiologique dans cette évolution. Il remonte en amont du Réveil Sourd afin de mieux pouvoir en cerner tous les enjeux. The profession of LSF/French interpreter has become increasingly professional over the last fifty years or so, since the Deaf revival. This article examines the contribution of LSF linguistics, and in particular the semiological approach, to this development. It goes back among the beginning of the Deaf revival in order to better understand all the issues at stake.
