Le pouvoir d’agir (ou l’empowerment), à travers la possibilité conférée à une personne d’être actrice de sa vie, semble être le socle sur lequel il pourrait se réinventer. L’article propose de s’appuyer sur les origines de l’empowerment, et de sa traduction francophone en pouvoir d’agir, comme sur les théories dans lesquelles il puise, pour en comprendre les ressorts, les intérêts et limites pour le travail social. Les débats dont fait l’objet cette notion seront ensuite présentés. |
