Summary, etc. |
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. | This paper discusses the determinants of the social strategy of foreign subsidiaries in France. So, it has presented the different elements of the social strategy which are: the social vision of enterprise, the code of conduct and values, social training of employees, the structures of application and control of the social strategy and the social reporting. After that, this study has proposed a theorical model that integrates institutional theory and strategic choice theory. This model has empirically been tested to prove a significant and positive relationship between the social strategy and its determinants. So that, the logistic regression has been used to test the institutional and managerial determinants of the social strategy. The finding results have pointed out that stakeholders’ pressure, European legislation, social standards and managers’ engagement influence the social strategy of multinationals. |
