520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. | The aim of this article is to contribute to the development of a political perspective within the field of clinical practice. It draws on the concept of “situated knowledge” introduced by the American feminist philosopher Donna Haraway, which asserts that all knowledge is shaped by a particular standpoint and that it is misleading to treat this standpoint as simply neutral. In contrast to dominant perspectives in academic psychology, which are primarily based on quantitative, biologizing, and rationalist approaches, “standpoint theory” argues that marginalized and subordinated perspectives possess a crucial “epistemological privilege.” By focusing on the study of the human being “in situation,” this work revitalizes and enriches the field, offering concrete pathways for integrating a political perspective into clinical practice – one that is often overlooked and insufficiently addressed. |
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. |
