520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. Classification JEL : E5 |
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. | Has Finance laid siege to Europe ?Will one remember of the European Central Bank as “the beautiful and orthodox central bank of a failed monetary union”...? When will we finally understand that the current European woes are in no way due to public debts? Why do the orthodoxy, the mainstream thinking, the overwhelming majority of economists and political leaders persist in considering this crisis to be that of the European “sovereign debt”? In light of History, two worldviews today still clash in Europe : further depleting financially and socially European citizens through fiscal policies or through privatization and liberalization of markets, in order to balance with obstinacy a country’s budget. |
