| Summary, etc. | RésuméLa Théorie des Trois Temps décrit l’horizon temporel disloqué du dépressif. Son horizon est fait d’un mal-être présent, d’un passé non-dépressif détaché de ce présent et d’un futur-thérapeutique qui remplace le futur absent et témoigne du niveau de guérison attendu. Partant de cette théorie, nous avons construit une Echelle Synoptique pour dépressifs, dite des Trois Temps – ES3TD –, composée de 30 items analysant le syndrome de la dépression et conjugués successivement au présent, au passé et au futur. En appliquant cette échelle à 110 dépressifs majeurs primaires dont le diagnostic a été posé par des psychiatres, nous avons démontré par l’application de différentes analyses statistiques que le dépressif se borne à souhaiter revenir au niveau de bien-être précédent sa dépression et ne désire pas, comme on aurait pu le supposer, un niveau de bien-être supérieur. La qualité de vie-intrinsèque – concept nouveau propre au dépressif – considérée comme un écart entre le mal-être présent et le futur-thérapeutique peut donc se percevoir comme une aspiration au temps passé. La formulation de l’article : « A la recherche du temps passé ou la qualité de vie du dépressif» prend ainsi tout son sens. |

| Summary, etc. | Our theory of Three Time Dimensions describes the dislocated temporal horizon of the depressed componed off a ill-being present and a past disconneted of this present, and a therapeutic-future which has substitued his real future and which gives a level of recovery. Based on this theory, we have constructed a new type of questionnaire. The Three Time Dimensions Synoptic Scale – 3TSS – consists of a single list of questions related to the depression syndrome and worded in the three time dimensions : past, present and future. Applying this scale to a sample of 110 depressive patients, we demonstrated by different statistical analysis that the depressed person wish go back to the state of well-being anterior to his current depression and does not wish as we could have tought, to be at a psychological level better than before his depression. The new concept of intrinsic-quality of life defined as a discrepancy between the therapeutic-futur and the ill-being present would appear as a search of time past. The formulation of this article : « In search of time past or the quality of life of the depressed individual » takes thus all his signification. |
