| 520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
| Summary, etc. |
| 520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
| Summary, etc. | The purpose of this article is to describe healing work in the oncological context, through the identification and mobilization of metaphors of the body, in patients’ narratives after an artistic experience. Our hypothesis is that psychic work with the arts (and artists’ imagination), in the presence of the therapist, cannot only distance the patients from a medicalized narrative of illness (symptoms, complaints, genes and physical pains), but also generate revitalizing and poetic metaphors of the body, useful in the elaboration of death anguish. We show clinical situations to support this hypothesis. |
