| Summary, etc. | On the basis of the testimony of Josef Schovanec, who describes himself as a “scientist and an autistic person,” the author tries to take the key ideas that, due to their great significance, enable the decoupling of autism from a conception of pure deficit and disability, as well as a conception of pure disease, while addressing many preconceived ideas concerning, for example, the lack of humor of autistic people or the toxicity of psychoanalysis.
