Summary, etc. This article analyzes the reconfiguration of consulting activity within the broader context of the professionalization of political communication. It studies the professional socialization of consultants and, in turn, the professionalization process of political communication in Tunisia amid the country’s “democratic transition.” How can political communication activity in Tunisia become institutionalized and professionalized in such an unstable context? The results presented here were obtained through an interview campaign conducted with political communication consultants. The respondents were asked about their personal trajectories, their professional practices in political communication, their perception of political communication in Tunisia, and the degree to which their work has become professionalized.
