| Summary, etc. | La répétition est généralement l’objet d’un double discours : elle est soit présentée comme l’outil incontournable d’un apprentissage efficace, et adossée à une pensée utilitaire de l’éducation ; soit critiquée comme le moyen d’une imitation mécanique, sans sens et sans émancipation. Ce texte tentera un éloge, tant philosophique que pédagogique, de la répétition comme exercice, et comme expérience du temps. Mais ce temps, qui est peut-être le temps de l’enfance, n’est pas celui, horizontal, de l’efficacité, de la production et de l’appropriation, mais serait plutôt un temps vertical de la profondeur et de l’exploration. La répétition comme exercice ouvre ainsi à la maîtrise, c’est-à-dire aussi à une expérience singulière et créatrice. |
