À partir d’une approche articulant l’anthropologie et l’histoire du temps présent, il s’agit d’analyser leur contexte d’émergence et les usages associés : de leur fabrication à leur mise à l’eau. Notre enquête montre que ces différentes activités sont autant d’étapes participant d’une acculturation des joueurs. Par l’intermédiaire d’une rhétorique du fun, ces jouets permettent une initiation au kayak ludique. |

With an approach articulating anthropology and current history, we analyze the background and the associated uses: from their hand-making to their launching. Our investigation shows that these different activities are all stages in a player’s acculturation. Through a rhetoric of fun, these toys provide an initiation to playboating. |
