520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc.
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. This article examines the phenomenon of educational micro-violences, conceptualized as everyday acts or remarks within schools that seriously undermine individuals’ dignity yet are often trivialized and normalized by the institution (Muller et Perez, 2024). Drawing on a theoretical and methodological framework informed by the concepts of microaggressions (Sue et al., 2007; Suau, 2025), micro-inequities (Rowe, 1990), and symbolic violence (Bourdieu & Passeron, 1970), this paper defines and elaborates on this notion, demonstrating empirically how these micro-violences lead to internalized isolation, posing lasting threats to students’ personal, social, and professional trajectories. In response, the article proposes incorporating the concept of reliance (Bolle de Bal, 2003; Morin, 2001), highlighting concrete practices termed micro-attentions, defined as everyday gestures of recognition capable of restoring social and educational connections. In conclusion, the article advocates for a singular accountability aimed at systemic and political transformation within the institutional educational framework.
