Il en éclaire la spécificité par contraste avec d’autres critiques plus radicales comme celles des communautariens tel Walzer, des philosophes de la reconnaissance tel Honneth, des théoriciens du choix social tel Sen, ou des utilitaristes tel Harsanyi. L’originalité de Ricœur est de considérer l’analyse de Rawls comme l’un des moments d’une approche plus large et dialectique de la justice. L’article montre comment Ricœur contribue ainsi à mettre en exergue les tensions internes qui font la grandeur de Théorie de la Justice.
