| Summary, etc. |
| 520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
| Summary, etc. | The author, a teacher for special needs, has been partaking in the project « Activities Associating Animal ( aaa) » for several years, within the ides (Institution Specialized in Visually Defective People) which accommodates young people, from 3 to 20 years old, affected by blindness and, for two thirds of them, suffering from psychological or psychiatric disorders. Dogs, selected by the association Handi’chiens (the former association anecah) share the everyday life of the children: real progress are noted in children behaviour. Thanks to two precise examples, we can note that the dog is a «tool» in the trainings and the awakening of a child: it carries out perfectly its role of assistance dog. |
