La commémoration annuelle de cet épisode historique donne lieu à un rassemblement important aux abords du village de Pontida (Lombardie), tendant à matérialiser une nation virtuelle, la Padanie, contre l’Italie désormais perçue comme centraliste et impérialiste. À partir de ce renversement symbolique, la Lega Nord développe l’expression d’un véritable nationalisme à rebours et porte le trouble au cœur même des institutions italiennes. |

Die jährliche Gedenkfeier dieser historischen Episode äussert sich in einer umfangreichen Versammlung am Rande des Dorfes Pontida (Lombardei), in der die Verwirklichung einer virtuellen Nation, Padanien, gegen das nun als zentralistisch und imperialistisch angesehene Italien angestrebt wird. Ausgehend von dieser Umkehrung eines Symbols entwickelt die Lega Nord einen echten, rückwärts gerichteten Nationalismus und stiftet bis in die italienischen Institutionen hinein Verwirrung. |
