| Summary, etc. | RésuméLe Game Fair, grande fête de la nature d’origine britannique organisée aussi en France (à Chambord) et en Italie (au lac de Bracciano), est un observatoire propice à l’étude du monde contemporain. Les participants font penser à autant de « tricksters » : personnages protéiformes, ambigus. En fait, les visiteurs du Game Fair peuvent passer sans gêne d’un enthousiasme inconditionnel pour les « traditions ancestrales » (traditions « vraiment authentiques », puisque ce sont eux-mêmes qui les ont inventées) aux rêveries technologiques les plus audacieuses.Derrière un désordre apparent, la cohérence des représentations repose sur un nombre restreint d’idées sous-jacentes : la nature sauvage comme lieu utopique où l’on retrouve l’« initié » (l’homme hors pair, l’aristocrate) qui sommeille en chacun d’entre nous ; la nature sauvage comme nouvel espace dominical où l’on exerce la bonté à des doses homéopathiques. |
