Les comportements déviants observables ne correspondent pas à une « désocialisation » ou à une folie, mais à un ordre de résistance latent à l’incertitude des situations et des réactions des passants. Ces derniers affichent une double intolérance : vis-à-vis des « incivilités », et vis-à-vis de la misère visuellement insupportable. |

Deviant behaviours observed in public spaces are not induced by « desocialization » or madness, but by a latent resistance resulting from precarious situations and from reactions of passers-by to whom « incivilities » and the sight of poverty are intolerable. |

Deviante Verhalten, die in öffentlichen Räumen zu beobachten sind, resultieren nicht aus Entsozialisierung oder Wahnsinn, sondern aus einem latenten Widerstand, der auf prekäre Situationen und Reaktionen der Passanten zurückzuführen ist, die weder Unhöflichkeiten noch die unerträgliche Sicht der Armut dulden können. |
