| Summary, etc. |
| 520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
| Summary, etc. | Laziness is defined in many different ways. The most severe judgments call it a flaw, and even a vice, whereas psychological conceptions interpret it as a symptom. However, one of Jung’s memories reveals all of the complexity of this trait. Laziness can indeed suggest a bodily laxness, a lack of will, an inner rebellion, and a propensity for neurotic reverie leading to a flight from reality. However, the condition also promotes an ability to dream that is hospitable to contemplation and creation. |
