520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. |
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. | In this article, we ponder the role of the voiceless environment in access to speech.Through a clinical case of mutism, we show how identification with the voiceless environment in the form of an identification with the inanimate, and then with animals, can be a step toward a human identification and a way out of mutism. Indeed, identification with the voiceless environment is not only what creates silence but also what retains possibilities for replaying the identification with the mirror during transference. This use of the identification with animals raises the question of a non-Oedipal use of animal fantasy. |
