This void in the bibliography is all the more surprising for several reasons: (1) Wittgenstein read and reflected on the Bible throughout most of his adult life; (2) he frequently discussed the Bible with his friends and colleagues; (3) his manuscripts contain numerous references to biblical passages, often in unusual contexts |
