520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. |
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. | Some demented elderlies suffer from recurrent anxiety states. The occurrence of these conditions and the difficulty of caregivers in responding to them are generally attributed to their memory disorders. Unfortunately, reassurance is often based upon temporal marks that appear to be dysfunctional. The author explores different questionings which can nourish the thoughts of the caregivers confronted to such repetitive and disorganizing states of anguish. What is the origin of such states? Can we find a meaning? What are the potential mechanisms? This article also discusses the consequences of such disorders. |
