Summary, etc. | This article investigates the field of management philosophy. It aims to highlight the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats associated with the presence of a philosopher in a company. Based on an interpretivist approach, the strategic importance of the presence of a company philosopher will be examined through the qualitative analysis of an auto-ethnographic narrative. The article points out how a business philosopher finds himself in the precarious position of truth-teller. It then considers the advantages and disadvantages of using the service of a philosopher, who can be by turns a “parrhesiastes” or a skillful consultant. |
