| Summary, etc. | Nos objets quotidiens ne sont pas seulement fonctionnels. Ils sont aussi des supports de rêveries narcissiques et sexuelles. Surtout, ils sont des instruments au service de l’assimilation psychique de nos expériences du monde. Pour cela, ils médiatisent à la fois notre subjectivité et notre socialisation en assurant de multiples transitions entre faits psychiques et faits sociaux. La reconnaissance de leur rôle permet de dépasser deux oppositions stériles, entre « technique » et « symbolique » d’un côté et entre « individuel » et « collectif » de l’autre. Les faits psychiques et les faits sociaux ne sont que deux regards différents portés sur l’ensemble des dispositifs qui nous relient à la fois à nous-mêmes et à nos semblables, où les objets jouent un rôle médiateur essentiel. |
