520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. |
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. | English-speaking Canada and Quebec: Adjustments of the FocalThis study stress on the way which French and Dutch referendums on European Constitution were interpreted in the Anglo-speaking Canadian and French-speaking Quebecer newspapers. Following recent constitutional crisis, newspapers would adjust their “media lens” related to their local understanding of the event, market-setting, political uses and creation of emotional communities. Indeed, Anglo-speaking Canadian newspapers would put the event within short-time, and French-speaking Quebecer newspapers would favor a more long-time framework. |
