Il s’appuie d’une part, sur les approches économiques et d’autre part, sur une analyse du projet en cours de la norme ISO 26000 relative à la responsabilité sociétale des organisations. Ainsi, les normes et labels apparaissent comme des innovations institutionnelles qui renforcent la performance des entreprises dans un contexte de développement durable.
