L’auteur s’intéresse ici plus spécialement au temps qui suit les rites de puberté. La mise en parallèle d’observations réalisées dans le cadre de la maison plurifamiliale traditionnelle indigène et dans celui du village, qui est aujourd’hui en contact permanent avec le monde extérieur, le conduit à dégager des schèmes de la pratique similaires concernant l’initiation dans ces deux espaces. Il montre comment une société amazonienne « doit prendre en compte le fait de l’efficacité symbolique des rites d’institution » (Bourdieu 1986 : 208) pour perdurer. |

The in between of the Amazonian TicunaIndividuals, while going through the successive age-groups, undergo, at the required time, specific rites pointing out the change of age-groupe. Up-to-now, research on the immediate periods of time following these ritual expériences, is rare. However, the researcher focuses his attention on the particular period of time coming next after the rites of puberty. Data collected within, first, the plurifamilial house, then, the village being constantly linked to the outside world, when compared, suggest, between these two places, similitudes of behaviour concerning initiation. The researcher brings to light how an amazonian society « should take into account the fact of the symbolic efficacy of initiation » (Bourdieu 1986 : 208), in order that this society may last long. |

El autor se interesa aquí especialmente al período consecutivo a los ritos de la pubertad.
