Summary, etc. |
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. | A distinction between action programming and incentive to action may be useful provided that proper criteria are established. ‹Programming› and ‹inciting› do not seem to be actions of the same kind or that involve similar linguistic and discursive forms. For prototypical programming texts, such as cooking recipes and modes of use, the procedural characteristics are dominant, however, there may be texts in which the complementarity between incentive to action and programming seem to be an internal necessity. This is what we will try to demonstrate by analyzing an economic consulting text from the IMF. |
