520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc.
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. Today, the notion of ?Fertile Crescent ? has become a familiar one. However its fairly recent origin ? the phrase dates back to 1914 ? is often unknown. That concept, as a part of our everyday language and because of its lack of a clear-cut definition, has become difficult to characterize and use in a scientific context. One could even go so far as challenging its ability to describe the Near East spaces if one were to forget the initial theory elaborated by Breasted. The fertile crescent is basically a place of interface with the desert steppe that extends the Arabic peninsula ? a sahel.
