520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. |
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. | A global aquatic system-world : geographical panorama of globalized food chainFor the last thirty years, fishing and aquaculture activities are increasingly globalized, and integrated in global aquatic world-system. Disturbing several geographical equilibrium, this system implementation of aquatic’s channel implies to analyse these activities in their entirety, in order to highlight their main current spatial dynamics (2006-2007). Therefore, while aquatic production’s spaces are dispersed, but mainly focused in Asia, distribution and consumption’s spaces are again concentrated in the Western countries. Moreover, aquatic trade flows keep on irrigating discontinuously these various spaces. |
