Ce mouvement insiste sur une violence d’état qui s’exerce non seulement par les agressions physiques et les assassinats mais aussi à travers les profondes inégalités économiques sociales et culturelles dont sont victimes les Noirs, et au-delà de nombreux Américains. Ce faisant, il dépasse une révolte communautaire bien légitime pour atteindre la dimension d’un combat de classe. |
