| Summary, etc. | Une approche fondée sur la théorie des transferts culturels est proposée pour expliquer l’apparition de dix airs en espagnol dans le Second livre d’airs mis en tablature de luth de Gabriel Bataille (Paris, 1609). L’étude cherche à déterminer l’origine de ces airs ainsi que les principaux facteurs qui ont permis leur réception et adaptation dans un contexte de conflits politiques, religieux et identitaires entre la France et l’Espagne. L’analyse des airs en espagnol contribue à cerner les différences et les similitudes avec les airs de cour en français. Cette analyse met en évidence l’origine espagnole du corpus et les procédés d’adaptation à la musique française. Elle montre que ces pièces se rapprochent à certains égards de la tradition française du vaudeville ce qui constitue un élément d’explication pour leur réception en France. Une analyse de la ‘traduction’ de l’air Pues que me das a escoger par Pierre Guédron (Paris, 1611) illustre deux niveaux d’assimilation d’une pièce espagnole dans le répertoire français. |

| Summary, etc. | An approach based on the theory of cultural transfer is proposed in this article to explain the inclusion of ten songs in Spanish in the Second livre d’airs mis en tablature de luth par Gabriel Bataille (Paris, 1609). This study seeks to determine the origin of these songs and the main factors that could explain their reception and adaptation in France in a context of political, religious and identity conflicts between France and Spain. Through the analysis of these songs, differences and similarities between French and Spanish airs are identified, emphasizing the characteristics that show their Spanish origin or their adaptation to the French court song style. Elements connecting the airs in Spanish to the vaudeville genre are proposed as a possible explanation to their reception in France. An analysis of the ‘translation’ by Pierre Guédron (Paris, 1611) of the air Pues que me das a escoger serves to illustrate different levels of assimilation of one Spanish song into the French repertoire. |
