520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. |
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. | Words like actor, partner or partnership, commonly used nowadays to describe the ways teachers and parents of special educational needs children may work together and cooperate, lead to paradoxes. Unless the French legal system and international Conventions as researches deal with the rights or the abilities of parents in schooling, the new evidence in which consists the principle of cooperation between parents and teachers must be criticised. Using works coming from sciences of education (researches in family education), this paper points out the fact that co-operation between parents and educators must be first understood in a symbolic way of speaking. |
