520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. |
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. | The modernization of public policy in France and the search for profitability and performance in public services, including in the social field, have encouraged the spread of coaching in social intervention. Based on the analysis of two individual supervisions of professionals in this field who have had different coaching experiences, we will highlight the intersubjective effects of coaching on their internal movements and practices, in their relationship to action and to the group as a psychosocial entity. These psychological and social impacts linked to the integration of coaching as a form of intervention show how these people adopt an “optative mode” to act in situations of high tension and tend to think of the collective by obliterating the subjectivity of the group. In addition, the different temporalities across situations are homogenized and mechanized, as if the temporality of the organization were incorporated into that of the individual. |
