| Summary, etc. | RésuméLes attentats du 11 septembre 2001 marquent l’entrée dans l’ère du terrorisme catastrophique. Depuis lors, le terrorisme a évolué. De nouvelles catégories de djihadistes ont émergé, en raison notamment de la dégradation de la situation en Irak. Le djihadisme finira sans doute par s’épuiser mais le terrorisme risque quant à lui de perdurer. Et la diffusion toujours plus large des technologies amènera des groupes de plus en plus limités à se doter de capacités de plus en plus destructrices. |

And the ever-broader proliferation of technology will bring smaller and smaller groups to acquire more and more destructive capabilities. |
