Au Sahel, les armées françaises ont mis en œuvre des conceptions héritées à la fois de leur histoire et des leçons tirées des interventions internationales des récentes décennies : interventions dans les Balkans ou « guerre contre le terrorisme ». En dépit de certains succès, ces conceptions se sont souvent avérées mal adaptées au milieu humain, social et politique des pays du Sahel. |
