520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. |
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. | “The articulation of social times as the central stake by the professionals of social work”In this article, the author demonstrates in what the articulation of social times is a central stake by the social assistants and emphasises the role of the organisation in that banal activity of the existence that seems to come a priori under individual decisions. Starting from a comparison of social frames contrasted from the point of view of their formalisation level, the article sheds light on their influence on the way the worker inscribes his professional role in space and time and he articulates it with his out-of-work obligations. This way, he shows that social assistants are not in identical conditions for the practical articulation of their temporality. In a second stage, the author questions the subjective dimension of this articulation and illustrates the importance of its harmonisation for those professionals who are confronted to knots of mental tension inherent to the nature of their work and that can potentially disturb their availability in out-of-work activities. |
