Summary, etc. |
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. | Language, identity and powerPower often relies on elements to justify its legitimacy to consolidate its foundation. Language, by its role, function and formation in society becomes a constant stake to power practice which uses it, according to finalities pertaining to authority lasting and duration, be it for reasons related to conflict exacerbation upon which its balance depends and survival preserved. It is the case of regimes characterized by authoritarianism and absence of alternatives as concerns ideological choices. In the migratory space, the relationship between power and language is that naturally it is the language of the majority that should be legitimately imposed, while preventing emergence of vernacular languages. Hence, the existence of a certain number of difficulties related to the space where the children of immigrants evolve. Impulsiveness, blurring of spatial-temporal benchmarks characterize the act of linguistic seclusion. Even the identity of each one of us is an unavoidable exigency as well as a structuring element which take part into the making of the semantic unity of any individuality in its particular stamp in front of otherness. |
