520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc.
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. AbstractNew Information Technologies (IT) are a source of cultural upheaval: they produce new forms of socialization, and are a double object — miraculous pharmakon and diabolic. Dependence to videogames and the Internet corresponds to an emerging clinical reality. Only a small number of subjects is concerned. It is still badly evaluated and does not make consensus. This paper studies what, in IT, may be viewed as addictive potential. But before that, it attempts to show how addiction became a major concern in our society.
