Summary, etc. |
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. | The Life of the Deaths: jesuismort.com, between Biography and Obituary“Any speech on the deaths the alive”, writes Jean-Claude Bonnet in Commemorative sites: guided by this proposition, this article analyzes a new shape of writing of the death, made possible by the computerized media. The chosen example is the one of an entitled site jesuismort.com, a created in 2005 by a Web developer, which renews the forms of the post-mortem eulogy, by crossing models inherited with the appropriate potentialities for the papers of screens. The held speech on the deaths determines communicationnels gestures which give sense to the tribute: read a biography, write a letter, suggest a dead man, but also improve the “score” of popularity of the famous deceaseds, become “a fan” on Facebook of the site – all these possible offered by the site constitute so many participations of a new kind in a funeral rite widely trivialisé, which is examined here according to three successive directions: from the point of view of its temporal regime, of its economic model, finally, of its modesof sociability. |
