| Summary, etc. | Le constructivisme social de Peter L. Berger et Thomas Luckmann place au cœur de ses analyses la capacité des individus à agir sur leur environnement institutionnel. Plus précisément, il s’intéresse tout autant à l’oubli de cette capacité – et aux phénomènes de fixation et de naturalisation des normes qui en découlent – qu’à sa réactivation à l’occasion de crises spécifiques. Dans cet article, nous étudierons principalement ce double phénomène dans le domaine des identités, tout en établissant un lien avec l’anarchisme. Pour cela, nous rappellerons en quoi les textes pionniers du constructivisme social, dans lesquels la notion de « réification » occupe une place notable, sont riches d’enseignements sur le lien entre autonomie et plasticité identitaire. Puis nous aborderons deux applications possibles de ce lien : nous verrons que les travaux de James C. Scott sur l’Asie du Sud-Est font de la fluidité de l’identité un mode privilégié de résistance à l’État, avant que l’étude du concept de « désidentification » chez José Esteban Muñoz, ainsi que des stratégies post-identitaires propres au mouvement queer, ne vienne compléter ces réflexions et permettre de mesurer la convergence entre ces auteurs, les pratiques qu’ils décrivent et la pensée anarchiste. |

| Summary, etc. | The social constructivism of Peter L. Berger and Thomas Luckmann emphasizes the capacity of individuals to transform their institutional environment. More specifically, it studies both the forgetting of this capacity – and the resulting phenomena of fixation and naturalisation of norms – and its reactivation during specific crises. In this article, we will look more closely at this dual phenomenon in the field of identities, while establishing a link with anarchism. To do so, we will recall how the founding texts of social constructivism, in which the notion of “reification” plays a significant role, are highly instructive concerning the link between autonomy and identity plasticity. We will then look at two possible applications of this link: we will see that James C. Scott’s work on South-East Asia makes the fluidity of identity the main mode of resistance to the State, before studying José Esteban Muñoz’s concept of “disidentification”, as well as the post-identity strategies of the queer movement. This will allow us to demonstrate the convergence between these authors, the practices they describe and anarchist thought. |
