| Summary, etc. | RésuméLa découverte de la chaussée Amiens – Rouen (Samarobriva – Rotomagus) lors des fouilles de « La Ferme aux Mouches 2 » à Pont-de-Metz a amené de nombreuses interrogations. En effet, souvent évoquée, cette voie n’avait jamais été mise en évidence. Les différentes observations ont ainsi fourni de nouvelles données sur le réseau viaire gallo-romain et permettent d’aborder la pérennité de la chaussée ainsi que sa fonction. L’hypothèse de la continuité de la voie Cologne – Bavay peut être envisagée. |

| Summary, etc. | The Bavay-Rouen Highway : Recent DiscoveriesThe discovery of the Amiens-Rouen (Samarobriva-Rotomagus) highway during the excavations of « La Ferme aux Mouches 2 » in Pont-de-Metz raised quite a few questions.Indeed, though often mentioned, this highway had never been discovered. The various observations have thus yielded new data on the Gallo-Roman highway network and have raised for scrutiny the issue of its permanence and its function. The assumption of an extension of the Cologne-Bavay highway can been considered. |
